Volunteers
Westhill Open Award Group is a voluntary organisation.
All vounteers are registered with Aberdeenshire Council and have completed Enhanced Disclosure (Scotland) or PVG. Most volunteers have attended Child Protection training, Youth Work volunteer training and many hold Outdoor First Aid certificates.
All outdoor activity leaders hold at least Low Hills, Remote Supervisor and Outdoor First Aid certificates and are experienced and enthusiastic about outdoor activities.
We are committed to supporting young people in achieving their Duke of Edinburgh's Award in a safe and encouraging environment.
