Welcome to the website for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award in Westhill. As a volunteer group, under the operating authority of Aberdeenshire Council, we train and support young people from any school, in fourth year and above, aiming to complete their Bronze, Silver or Gold awards. Started your Award and need help to finish it? Get in touch Safety is our top priority in all activities. All meetings and events are supervised by experienced, qualified volunteers. Plans are subject to risk assessment and full authorisation process. Participants complete a thorough programme of training to prove competency to take part in expeditions which are always supervised. |

Volunteering Section opportunities: - help at NETBALL on Mondays from 5 to 6pm (ask Kathleen at the Community Centre) - donate SANDWICHES for the homeless each Tuesday (email Katie at WesthillDoE@aol.co.uk) - fundraise for a Shelter Box - grow £1 over 3, 6 or 12 months
